White label Data Studio reporting built for marketing agencies

Our white label Data Studio reporting service gives marketing agencies a client reporting system that runs under the agency's name. We build the master template, roll it out across your roster with each client's branding, and put the sharing and delivery process in place that Data Studio does not provide out of the box.

Quick answer

How does white label Data Studio reporting work for an agency?

White label Data Studio reporting means an outside team builds client reports that carry your agency's and your clients' branding, with no mention of the builder. We create one master template, copy it per client, swap each copy to that client's data sources, apply their theme and logo, and set sharing and scheduled delivery.

  • One master template, copied per client, keeps every report consistent and fast to update.
  • Data Studio has no client management, so we build the onboarding process around it.
  • Partner connector fees are paid to the vendor, and we help you pick the right one.
  • We stay invisible to your clients unless you choose to introduce us.
01

What is white label Data Studio reporting?

It is client reporting that your agency delivers as its own, built and maintained by our team in the background. Your clients see their logo, their colors and your agency's name on the cover page.

Agencies usually come to us at one of two points: when monthly reporting is eating a full day per account manager, or when every client's report looks different because each was built by whoever had time. Both problems have the same fix, which is a single template system with one owner.

White label Data Studio reporting also changes what account managers spend their time on. Instead of exporting numbers into slides, they open a finished report, read it, and write the two or three sentences of commentary the client is actually paying for. We keep a text box on the summary page for exactly that, so the insight sits next to the numbers.

02

How do you build one template for a whole client roster?

We design one master report around the metrics your agency sells on, then copy it for each account and point the copy at that client's data. In Data Studio, making a copy lets you replace each data source with another of the same shape, so a template built on one Google Ads account works on the next one without rebuilding charts.

The template is built to survive that swap. Calculated fields live in the data source where possible, field names are kept identical across connectors, and CASE statements that group campaigns use naming rules every client follows. Where a client runs a channel others do not, we hide that page rather than fork the template.

We also plan for the limits early. Fixed-schema sources such as Google Ads allow 10 dimensions and 20 metrics per table, and a blend joins at most 5 sources, so a cross-channel summary is designed around those caps from the start instead of hitting them on client number twelve.

  • Page structure: summary, paid search, paid social, organic search, website behavior, leads.
  • A report-level date control and comparison period that match your monthly cadence.
  • A parameter for target CPA or ROAS, so each client's goal line is set without editing charts.

03

How do client branding and sharing work?

Each copy gets a theme with the client's colors and logo, and sharing is set so a client can only ever open their own report. We share as view-only, turn on the setting that stops viewers downloading, printing or copying where you want that, and decide per source whether it runs on the owner's credentials or the viewer's.

Owner's credentials mean the client sees data without needing access to the ad account, which is what most agencies want. The catch is that the report breaks if the credential owner leaves, so we set ownership to a shared agency account rather than a staff member's login.

04

How do scheduled delivery and refresh work for clients?

Most clients get a scheduled email with a link and a PDF on the day your monthly review is due. Viewers can also refresh data manually, which Google added in June 2026, so a client opening the report mid-month sees current numbers.

Agencies on Data Studio Pro can run up to 200 delivery schedules per report, schedule hourly, and deliver to Slack or Google Chat. Pro is $9 per user per project per month for editors, and clients viewing reports need no licence.

05

What do partner connectors cost an agency?

Google's native connectors are free, but Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and most CRMs need a partner connector, and those vendors charge on their own terms. Supermetrics, Windsor.ai, Porter Metrics, Funnel, Power My Analytics and Catchr are the common choices, and their pricing models differ by number of accounts, sources and refresh frequency.

Vendor prices change often, so we do not quote them. What we do is map your roster (how many clients, which channels each runs) against each option's model, and tell you which one fits before you commit.

06

Why does an agency need a process, not just reports?

Data Studio has no client management for agencies: no list of which report belongs to which client, no warning when a connector breaks, and no central place to roll out a change. Without a process, a roster of thirty reports drifts apart within a quarter.

So we supply one: a register of every client report, its data sources and its credential owner; a naming convention for reports and sources; an onboarding checklist for new accounts; and a change log so an update to the master is pushed to every copy in a controlled way.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Will my clients know you built the reports?

No. Reports carry your agency's and your client's branding only, and sharing comes from your agency account. We never contact your clients unless you ask us to join a call.

Can one Data Studio template work for every client?

Yes, as long as the template is built for it. Data Studio lets you copy a report and replace its data sources, so we keep field names consistent and logic in the data source, which makes the swap clean.

Do clients need a Data Studio Pro licence to view reports?

No. Data Studio Pro licences are only needed for creators, editors and managers in Pro workspaces. Viewers do not need one, and the free edition works for many agencies.

How do you report on Meta and LinkedIn Ads in Data Studio?

Through a partner connector such as Supermetrics, Windsor.ai, Porter Metrics or Funnel, since Google's native connectors do not cover those platforms. We recommend one based on your roster size and channel mix.

What happens when a client connector breaks?

Data Studio gives no warning when a connector fails, so a broken report is often found by the client. On our managed plan we check every client report on a schedule and fix credentials or field changes before the monthly send.

How long does a white label rollout take?

It depends on roster size and how consistent your clients' campaign naming is. We give a fixed timeline and price after the free review, once we have seen the accounts.
